Removals Index is a comparison service for removals. You tell us about your move once, and removals firms that cover your route and your type of move come back to you with quotes.
Removals pricing is not standardised. Two firms quoting the same house can land hundreds of pounds apart, because they have priced different things: one has included packing, one has allowed for an awkward carry, one has not seen the loft. The spread between several quotes tells you far more than any single number, which is the whole reason this service exists.

Nothing. There is no charge to use the service and no obligation to accept a quote. Removals firms pay to be part of the panel, which is how the service is funded.
We are not a removals company. We do not carry your belongings, hold your deposit or enter into the removals contract, and we are not party to the agreement you make with the firm you choose. Your contract, your quotation and any claim are with that firm, which is why it is worth running the checks in our guide to how to check a removal company before you book.
