“Removals Index” is a trading name of iPlace Global Ltd, 4 Old Park Lane, London, W1K 1QW, who is the Data Controller for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018 (the Act), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulation (PECR). This privacy policy sets out how iPlace Global uses and protects the information that you give Removals Index when you use this website.

- To provide the quote request details to up to 6 removal companies or to other partner businesses who provide the services that you have requested who will then contact you with quotes via email/phone/SMS. They may then follow up to see whether you want to use their services.
- Our trusted partner companies have agreed to process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all applicable laws. You have the same rights over how they use your data as you do with us
- We are not in control of the processes or policies of partner companies who may provide you with quotes and/or services; the partner companies are responsible for their own GDPR compliance when they process your personal data to provide their services
- To contact you to discuss your quotes or gather feedback on the service or service providers
- For internal record keeping
- We may use the information to improve our products and services
- We use Contact State Ltd to confirm your request has been generated by a real person and not a robot and to provide a certificated record of provenance for the personal data you provide. These certificates will be passed onto the service providers we use to fulfil the services you have requested from us. Their privacy notice can be found here.
- If you indicate you are happy for us to do so, in order to provide the Home Setup and Utility Management Services we may, in the course of provision of the services, share move-to and move-from addresses, moving dates, tenancy details, council tax status, and other data required for the provision of those services (including data relating to other occupants or household members) to Ethical Introductions Ltd (T/A Just Move In) to enable them to fulfil the contract for those services. - We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, websites, special offers, services or other information which we think you may find interesting. You can ask us to stop these communications with you at any time. You can do this either by clicking on the unsubscribe link in our emails, or by replying “STOP” to any SMS message, or by contacting us using the details at the end of this privacy policy
- If you respond to the invitations we send you to get quotes for other services, we will inform you when other companies will be sent your details.
- From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you by email, phone, or mail for market research or feedback purposes
- We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests, or to measure the relevance and effectiveness of our advertising
- If iPlace Global Ltd or its assets are acquired by a third party, personal data held by iPlace Global Ltd about its customers will be transferred to the acquirer.

iPlace Global Ltd may share your personal information with other services providers but only when you request specific services from our partners, in this case, removal services.
If you wish to take additional services from us, we will inform you about those partners to whom we will send your information. We are also working with Ethical Introductions Limited (Just Move in) so that they can help you by providing home set up and utility management services.

Use of our service is free as Removals Index will receive a fee from our partner service providers.

Where we store your data
Your data will usually be held in a destination inside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).
